As of October 2008 a new Estate and Letting Agency came to the Dawlish area; Devon Aspects. Created, owned and managed by Gary and Hilary Hook. We are an individual and local Estate and Letting Agent who offer a level of commitment you can only find from people who run their own business.

The true measure of a good Estate and Letting Agency is how they perform in a difficult market. Both Hilary and Gary have worked with individuals and businesses through difficult periods and know that in order to get results you must be proactive.

Hilary has worked in estate agency for nearly twenty years, for companies such as Strutt and Parker and Lane Fox. “I am highly successful because I take the time to understand people’s needs and what they want to achieve, building a strong relationship through contact with both buyers and sellers. I take the time to understand everything about your aims and wishes and fully explain the buying and selling process you are embarking on.

I know there is nothing more frustrating than not knowing what is going on throughout the buying and selling process. I have personally bought and sold nine houses and understand that people need to be kept informed”.

Gary has spent over twenty years with companies like Mars, Outspan and Coca-Cola Enterprises in roles ranging from sales, man-management and General Management “I’ve managed client relationships for the supply of services to international and national businesses. From experience I know it’s hard to get new clients but it’s harder still to keep them. The only way to do that is by providing excellent customer service.”

In essence this means;

2. Anticipate potential problems and deal with them
3. But most important of all COMMUNICATE!
